- A Life Remembered — Prologue in which the new characters awaken with emotional echoes of the previous world. See History and Cosmology.
- Akh — A transformed or effective spirit; Nekhar is described as an Exiled Akh. See Religion and Gods.
- Altenis — Occasional spelling variant of Altennis in image-prompt history. See Altennis.
- Altennis — Zeb’s elf Rogue/Nightwalker, former spy, and partial copier of the ’Iiskir Elixir recipe. See Player Characters.
- Amarna — Largest walled city in the river valley and site of the great temple of Ra. See Locations.
- Amun — Ancient creator believed by heretics to be imprisoned beneath the Bowels of Anubis. See Religion and Gods.
- Amun-Ra — Dominant public god, commonly called Ra; official myth treats him as the merged result of Ra consuming Amun. See Religion and Gods.
- Anubis — God of proper burial, passage, judgment, and the boundary between life and death. See Religion and Gods.
- The Artery — Secret underground river flowing through a hidden world beneath the desert. See Geography.
- Ashen Vow — Experienced adventuring party mysteriously killed inside the ruined city. See Factions and Organizations.
- Ash-Salt Dead — Undead encountered in the Hall of Thirsting Dead. See Creatures and Adversaries.
- Ashur-Ka — Fire djinn freed by the party from an enchanted red vessel. See NPCs.
- Ba — The mobile, individual personality or identity of a soul. See Religion and Gods.
- Bogsnard the Blue / Bogs — Noah’s previous-life gnome abjuration wizard. See Player Characters.
- Bowels of Anubis — Bottomless healing and agonizing oasis used for punishment and believed to imprison Amun. See Locations.
- Bound — Early remade-world category for oppressed or punished people. See History and Cosmology.
- Burning Jewel — Fiery key used to open the buried catacomb stair and associated with the Cinderheart Seal. See Artifacts and Important Objects.
- Captain Jenna Marshall — Principal captain and voice of the miniature community within Intrepid. See NPCs.
- Catacombs of Ashur-Ka — Buried temple complex containing the Hall of Thirsting Dead, Scorpion Well, Cinderheart sanctum, and djinn prison. See Locations.
